MindRise Learning is looking for friendly, passionate educators to join our growing reading center. We are looking for someone who loves students, enjoys learning new teaching methods, and making a difference in the lives of struggling readers. This is a primarily in-person tutoring position at our reading center in St. Augustine, FL.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate area of study. Outstanding individuals in the process of obtaining a degree in education or a related area of study may also be considered.
• Experience in education and/or working with students, particularly those who have learning disabilities.
• General knowledge of Structured Literacy is essential as well as a willingness to be trained in this approach.
• Complete MindRise Learning pre-service training and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Tutor intensive reading students ages Pre-K to adult, possibly with language-based reading problems (e.g., dyslexia, etc.) by following the instruction manual and carrying out systematic instructions.
• Prepare and execute engaging, individualized lesson plans at appropriate student levels.
• Maintain excellent student progress records and complete periodic reports.
• Demonstrate professionalism in interactions with fellow staff, students, parents, and administrators.
